Cyclops: Band-Tailed Pigeon

Cyclops is an adult band-tailed pigeon who came to us with an eye injury. Unfortunately, the injury was so severe it left him blind in one eye. The loss of eyesight affected his ability to navigate and evade predators. This disability made him unable to be released to the wild, and we were able to give him a second chance at life in our education program. Cyclops has quite the personality and actively greets his keepers every morning. He is also an artist, and has created several pieces of beautiful artwork using electronic tablets. Some of his artwork has even sold for hundreds of dollars!
