Wildlife Rehabilitation Technician
Kerry Klein is originally from South Florida and has lived in western Washington for 22 years. She is a retired teacher who began volunteering for the shelter in April 2016 as an Wildlife Care Steward. In January 2017, Kerry joined the Education Program. In August 2018, Kerry joined the staff as a seasonal employee, and has just recently made the transition to a year round employee. Kerry has a multitude of pets at home, including dogs, cats, goats, and chickens, and has volunteered for Kitsap Humane Society as a foster home for cats and kittens. Kerry is thrilled to be a member of the staff at the shelter and having the opportunity to rescue, rehabilitate, and release the wildlife that comes to us.
