Lisa joined the Wildlife Shelter as Executive Director in October 2012 before serving the Suquamish Tribe as the Director of Early Learning from 2006-2012. Lisa holds a Masters in Educational leadership and a BA in political science. A citizen of Canada, Lisa has enjoyed living in the PNW since 2006. Lisa is the primary permit holder for the shelter with Washington State Fish and Wildlife and US Fish and Wildlife, and is a certified wildlife rehabilitator. She enjoys dividing her time between administrative/fundraising work and direct animal care in the clinic.
When Lisa is not at the Shelter, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, friends and dogs, enjoying the outdoors on the beach or hiking.
