Rhett, CWR, LVT, first fell in love with wildlife medicine and rehabilitation at a young age at the Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville, NC, near their hometown. After finishing their education in NC, they moved to south Florida for their vet tech externship at CROW and their career at the South Florida Wildlife Center. They’re delighted to now be part of the team at WSWS and enjoy all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. They have a passion for avian medicine, laboratory techniques, and working with volunteers/interns. In their downtime Rhett enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, hiking/birdwatching, and movie marathons.
